idk why barbie isnt more loved and seen as appropriate for older audiences

barbie is all about girl power, especially in the newer movies. also the female representation is so good (i mean, it IS barbie) and all barbie movies encourage girls to unashamedly be who they are 

so really what im saying is that i dont understand why so many people think barbie should just be for young children,or why so many people laugh in my face when i say that barbie is my favourite series of movies
