I like to think that I outgrew my edgy phase a long time ago, but from time to time I like to indulge in edgy music maybe because I like the tune (disclaimer: I’ve never listened to The Hollywood Undead)

who cares what music you listen to. i still listen to hollywood undead, deuce, papa roach (his new hit is fucking incredible ngl “Born For Greatness”, its such a mood), panic! at the disco, mayday parade, etc… of course, thats just popular middleschool shit these days, but when i was younger i listened to a lot of acdc, bee gees, backstreet boys, limp bizkit, korn, etc

theres nothing wrong with just… liking what you enjoy. who cares if its considered “edgy shit” if you like it, whos going to stop you from liking it?

to think that you cant like something because of how society and your friends around you see it is such a horrible highschoolers/middle schoolers “i need to do what everyone deems acceptable in order to fit in” mentality and it keeps you from actually enjoying the things you really want to enjoy.

let yourself listen to whatever music you want dude. its not anyone elses say in whether you should like it or not. so what if its edgy, i bet most people listen to it too!
