You know what I absolutely loathe? Tumblr’s approach towards minorities and ethnicities in general.

Like Tumblr’s idea that minorities are only POC and LGBT members.

It ignores the other minorities as well as the fact that the minorities in the US are not the universal minorities.

For example, immigrants from predominantly white nations are ignored and their struggles as well are often pegged as unimportant because they are “privileged”.

Even then, Tumblr has that lovely habit of ignoring any minority that isn’t dark enough to fit their idea of what oppression looks like.

Passing Hispanics and such are dismissed and ridiculed really. Most not even being able to state opinions because of this idea that you have to look a certain way to be able to claim you are of an ethnicity. But then if they try to speak for the other side are called traitors.

Also, forgetting that not all “white” people are white(we’re not even going to dive into the fact that most Hispanics fall under the white race).

For example, darker Italians and Spaniards who could pass as someone from Latin America and those from the Middle East. God forbid these people try to talk about any issues not related to their specific area because they’re not POC enough apparently.

If I, a Spanish Italian, dare try to talk about the issues in Latino homes, I am bitched at because I’m apparently POC enough to live in the same conditions and see the world through the same situations because I am a darker Italian, but I’m not POC enough to actually talk about the issues and things I have seen.

No, God forbid I attempt to do that! I’m white, remember?

There’s so many things about this site I could go off about such as the awful view towards Christianity everyone seems to have (but if someone dares insult a Muslim or a Jew, they’re evil), the cherry picking of parts of cultures to fit whatever MOGAI bullshit agenda people want to push next, the fact that people ignore the consequences of mass immigration, the comparison of stuff in the US to concentration camps while ignoring ACTUAL concentration camps in other nations, the “if you do this wrong, you’re terrible forever” ideology, the complete bullshit hatred towards anyone cis/het/white/male, the fact that people think that al the shit with the Moors was okay because they were POC but bitch about colonization with other nations nonstop, the racism people refuse to accept is racism, the idea that women can’t be predators or abusers that hurts wlw, and so much more. But of course, if I went off that long, this post would never end.

Basically, this site is full of dumbasses and hypocrites who want to act like angels while they drive people apart even more.
