2012: Dream Drop comes out

2012-2018: Khux and the remakes come out. Not gonna list them all cause it’d be a little much

2002-2006: Fanbase is small and not noteworthy but they are there

2006-2009: Kh II causes the fandom to explode in size. This was the most prolific but also the most cringy time period. Some people would call it the dark ages. Deviantart and Fanfiction.net galore.

2009-2012: We all grew up a little and became a little more self-aware. Stuff still went on but we were all a little more critical of it. Still very prolific. I guess by default this would be the fandom’s high point?

2012: Fandom slowly starts to die due to lack of releases outside of Hd remakes and Khux. No sign of Kh III.

Now: We’re still here just on and off dormant. We’re not small by any means but we’re not at 2006-2012 level prolific. There are inklings of questionable stuff floating around but that’s fairly normally. We’re finally getting Kingdom Hearts III. Hopefully that will boost the fandom output.
