It had seemed like an ordinary morning, with Ricardo only having to go to a few meetings and check in on his allies. When he had woken up that morning, he had looked over at you sleeping soundly, and felt a small smile come to his face. Ricardo would do anything for you, and it was one of the luckiest days of his life when you actually agreed to marry him.
Ricardo had gotten dressed, and was going to go have dinner. He did not decide to wake you yet, since you seemed to be dreaming pleasantly. You deserved to sleep in, especially since the two of you had such a wild night last night. Ricardo smirked to himself.
Throwing one last look over his shoulder at you, Ricardo shut the door softly, ready to start his workday.
It was a few hours later that Ricardo noticed a that there was something amiss. His mood had soured considerably from when he had woken up, the stupidity from those around him was almost sucking the life from him it seemed. It didn’t help that you had not shown up at all yet, since you usually always delivered tea to him when he had guests over, even if you knew he didn’t drink it.
Sending a glare to his right-hand man, he growled out that he would be right back, intent on going to see what you were doing.
Once Ricardo got to the stairs that lead to the top floor, the usual bustling activity around him had ceased. There was no one in sight, and as he walked up the stairs, it seemed as if the whole wing of the house had been abandoned.
Ricardo felt his heartbeats start to pick up and his strides towards his room got faster and faster, until he was almost running. The door was open, but there was no noise. He had to stop himself on the doorway to keep himself from slipping. Ricardo grip on the doorway tightened once he saw the scene inside the room.
Blood, blood was everywhere. On the floor, across the bed, on the walls. Bodies of the maids that usually helped you get dressed in the morning were strewn across the room. The glass doors leading onto the balcony were thrown open, bloody footprints leading to the edge of the pavement.
His eyes searched for you, but you were nowhere in sight, but he was relieved that the pile of bodies did not include you. However, that just meant that somebody had been stupid enough to kidnap you, and Ricardo felt his anger surge through him. Before he could stop himself, he had thrown his lamp against the wall.
Ricardo stared down at the broken shards on the ground. The Vongola had countless enemies, and he had no idea where to start. The only thing he was certain of, was that he was going to find you, and kill the person who thought it was a good idea to cross him.
