Xanxus was feeling rather annoyed after Tsuna left. And still rather frisky. You arrived in his office five minutes later still straightening out that pencil skirt of your’s.
“What the hell took you so long, ___?” he growled, opening a bottle of whiskey and take a large drink of it. You frowned at him, a bit annoyed with that display he gave the whole office. Not to mention embarrass you in front of the current Vongola Don.
“I was actually getting water, Xanxus, when Tsuna approached me.” you chided, reaching back and locking his office door.
“Well, get over here then.” he frowned when you didn’t immediately come to his side or sit on his desk.
“..We’ve gotta talk about this, Xanxus.” He groaned as you said this, and you looked down, annoyed and hurt that all he wanted was sex and not to explain his actions.
“Talk! Talk, talk, talk! All it is, is cheap fucking words and you know that! Fine! You wanna talk so bad, let’s talk! What the fuck do you wanna talk about?!”
“Well, what the hell was that out there with Don Vongola?!” you shot back, annoyed and his eyebrows raised.
“He was hitting on my woman! What the fuck did you expect me to do?! Sit back and let him?!”
“No, you let me handle it! I told you I don’t like younger guys, Xanxus!”
“Younger guy or not the way he going he was going to get into your pants one way or another, ___!” He growled, shocking you into silence and walking around his desk. His rough hands gripped your shoulders not to hurt but to put some sense back into you. “And the only one in your pants had better be me.”
“Of course you’re the only one I’m seeing!” you cried, incredulously.
“Good. Now take off that stupid skirt before I rip it off.” He growled, in an entire different tone, while pushing you against a wall and biting down your neck. His hands wandered down your shirt to unbutton every last thing he could and do his damnedest not to rip the flimsy fabric.
“Xanxu-ahh…” you moaned, chest rising to meet his hands while he worked his magic fingers on your breasts.
“I said to take off the fucking skirt..” he growled lowly, biting your earlobe as your hand fumbled with the zipper down the side.
Thirty minutes later he had you bent over his desk, teetering on the brink of bliss while he played with you and teased you and said dirty things in your ears but wouldn’t let you take that last leap off. He could get used to you moaning and begging him to let you finish. And he could keep you here for hours.
// Omg, I love otome games!! Especially those app games from Voltage Inc. like In Your Arms Tonight, My Forged Wedding, and the like. The guys are seriously so hot like I get jealous of the MC for getting together with them instead of me xD //
~Admin Reborn~
Tsuna:
At first Tsuna would think it was cute that you could think something as trivial as pixelated men could please you. After all, you were with the most powerful mafioso in the world, there’s no way someone else would compare to him!
Then he would actually see the guys that you were playing around with. That’s when the jealousy kicks in.
He would make small quips and remarks about the games, how they’re a waste of time and waste of money (if you have to buy the guys’ routes).
He’ll try to get you involved in other things, especially if they involve him.
You’ll believe him for a while about how you could be doing more productive things, but those designs and graphics are just too good to stay away from, especially with its gameplay. So you’ll fall back into it.
In which case, Tsuna will probably hide your phone and act all innocent about it.
Needless to say, he will be be more sly with making you stop your gameplay of otome games.
Xanxus:
Now Xanxus is a bit of a different story.
He will immediately wonder why you’re al over your phone and not paying attention to other things like you used to.
He will one day casually pass behind you one day and peer over you shoulder at what’s got you interested. Although you’ll be in awe at the graphics and gameplay, chances are there will be a hunk of a guy on the screen, and that’s enough to get him flipping out.
Xanxus will probably just stand there for a while until he actually acts on his thoughts and starts to hiss at you for checking other guys out, which you’ll of course deny but he won’t believe.
I can totally see Xanxus grabbing your phone and tossing it elsewhere and then dragging you off with him so you don’t “cheat” on him anymore.
So in other words, Xanxus will be anything but sly with his actions on making him pay attention to you, therefore showing off his jealousy in a pretty obvious way.
You dropped on your couch like a log that night, coming home
so late for working hard so much. Not only that but you had a fierce argument
with your boss because he was practically forcing
you into taking a vacation leave.
But how could you?
Leaving your mind idle would only allow the memories to come
flooding in and hurt you again.
Tsuna…
Why all of a sudden?
How could he just suddenly tell you he’s grown tired of you?
Not your precious Tsuna. Not that sweet, slightly awkward
man who treated you like you were his whole world… But as soon as you asked him
about it his usually warm eyes turned cold. Like iced gold. In just one second
it felt as though a chasm had opened up between the both of you. All of a
sudden he felt like a million miles away and suddenly… he stopped calling. For
three weeks you’ve waited. You were still
waiting. You felt like a moron.
Even a complete idiot would know what that meant.
BZZZZTTT!!!! BZZZZTTT!!!!
BZZZZTTT!!!!
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!
The vibrating of your phone and the knocking on your door
forced you to open your eyes and you sighed.
You answered your phone as you struggled to get up to answer
your door. “Hello?”
“Hey, it’s me.”
“Hayato?” you asked, confused. “What’s up?”
You heard him cough awkwardly on the other side but spoke
gruffly anyway. “I know this is an awkward question but… have you seen him?”
You blinked before smiling sadly, making your way towards
the door where another set of knocks came on again. “You know he’s dumped me.
He hasn’t called since…”
“…I know but… Please. He’s missing; this is not normal for
him. If you see him please… Please let me know!”
Beginning to worry as you listened to Hayato’s pleas you
open the door and your eyes widen when you saw the topic of your current
conversation leaning against the threshold of your door, his arms crossed over
his chest and looking at you from the corner of his eyes.
“Hayato,” you calmly said through the phone as you stared at
Tsuna’s face. “I think you better pick him up.”
“Wha―”
But before Hayato could finish his question the phone was
taken from your hand and Tsuna started speaking. “Hayato. Don’t wait up.”
He ended the phone call as he backed you into your apartment
and threw your phone on the carpet as he did so.
“I don’t think there’s anything else we need to talk about
anymore, Tsuna,” you said as calmly as you can. “You made it perfectly clear
that you don’t want anything to do with me.”
“Did your boss give you your vacation time?” he asked,
ignoring what you just said.
You looked away. It hurt to look into his eyes. “What does that have to do with anything?”
“I specifically told him that if you get sick from
overworking; I’ll put him in a drum and bury him in cement.”
He said it so coldly, so casually you knew there was no way he was joking. “So that was you?”
“…We need to talk.”
“You didn’t seem interested in anything I had to say before,”
you walked around him towards the door to open it for him as you said so. “I
think you should leave now.”
But before you could open the door you felt yourself being
pressed against it from behind, his hand on the one you had on the door knob
and you gasped at the feel of his breath against the shell of your ear as he
spoke. “If I were ten years younger I would have given up on this. I know for a
fact I’d only cause you pain. I didn’t try to call because… I tried to see if I
could still live without you.”
The admission touched a nerve in you but it did not make you
angry. Just extremely sad at the struggle he had had to fight with to come to
whatever decision he had reached tonight. And you were half afraid this was
going to be the last time you’d see him.
“And?” you whispered back as your tears pricked your eyes,
your lips trembling from the emotions you’ve been trying to bury all this time
even as you whisper out his name. “What did you find out?”
You felt him bury his face in your hair and breathed you in
like you were the last source of oxygen on earth. His arms coming around you
tightly. “That I’m not fifteen anymore. And I’m not going to walk away from
what belongs to me. So I’m sorry… I can’t give you up.”
Xanxus
You felt a migraine coming up as you saw another member of
the Varia guarding your front door as you stepped out to go to work for the
third week in a row. Fed up, you march towards Levi who was doing an excellent
imitation of a stone gargoyle and put your hands on your waist demanding his
attention.
“Is he listening?” you asked irritably.
Levi’s answer is to sweat bullets and try to ignore you.
Xanxus’ orders were very specific. You were not to be touched or harmed in any
way. Anyone who tries will be promised a very painful flaying.
Normally you would be too stubborn to even acknowledge their
presence but this was just getting ridiculous.
Grabbing Levi’s ear and dragging the earpiece towards you
you started yelling into it. “You JERK! Make them stop! Are you trying to pick
a fight with me?! This is the reason why I left you in the first place! Stop
hovering and let me live like an ordinary person! I don’t need you protecting me
all the time, you paranoid, idiot! Call them all off or I will never forgive
you!”
You shoved Levi back and stomped off to work. However, with
every step your anger melted away into something sad and aching. It wasn’t like
you wanted to break it off with him. But Xanxus’ love was becoming suffocating.
It was as if he was determined to have you coddled and watched over twenty four
seven. Sometimes you even thought you couldn’t go to the bathroom without being
watched.
As your relationship with him progressed it became obvious
to you that he was not just an overzealous, arrogant, violent tempered bum you
knew so well. Xanxus had always struck you as a man with power. More than just
authority, but true blue power. Power that always amazed you were allowed to
touch whenever you slept beside him. Whenever you touched him. Whenever you
kissed him. And in the end it was the real reason you left him. You grew
uncertain.
Uncertain that you will never be good enough for someone
like Xanxus. Like you would only get in his way. And though it broke your heart
you thought this was better than being a burden to him.
You went on to work as usual and the light feeling you had
on your back told you that at least Xanxus listened to your request. You went
on with your duties with a bittersweet smile on your face. And when the day
ended you went home as usual, thinking of crying yourself to sleep again
tonight as you thought about him. Praying you would get over him soon so you
could stop suffering.
Suddenly a hand reached out from the darkness and covered
your mouth, effectively keeping you from screaming. You were pulled into a dark
alley kicking and screaming. You managed to bite the hand holding onto you and
managed to get enough breathing room to squeeze out a scream before a fist
knocked you down.
Before you lost consciousness you caught a glimpse of
crimson eyes burning furiously in the dark.
You woke up in the back of a moving car and terror made you
immediately react violently and struggle against the feeling of a pair of hard
arms holding onto you like you were a lifeline.
“Fuck, quit that,
you idiot!”
The familiar rumble of that voice froze you enough to
recognize just whose arms were holding you. And there, staring back at you,
were Xanxus’ beloved red eyes.
“Xanxus…”
His calloused hand ran feather light against your sore,
swollen cheek and the violence that has always been a constant presence in his
eyes flared in a fury you had always suspected he was capable of.
“I’m going to keep that fucker alive and in pain as long as
I can until your bruises heal. And then I’m killing him with my bare hands.” He
promised before gently pulling your chin up to make you look at him. “I’ll kill
anyone who tries to touch you with my bare hands.”
You couldn’t help it, your tears fell even as you buried
your face in his shirt. “Are you deaf? I told you… We’re through.”
You felt his arms tighten around you even more and you
couldn’t help but surrender yourself to the familiar comforting safety his
embrace always made you feel even as you heard him speak gruffly. “Like I ever
agreed to something that stupid.”
Gokudera
“This is Red Storm to Blue Rain. Do you copy?”
“Blue Rain here reading you loud and clear.”
“Hey, Sunshine. You there?”
“IT’S YELLOW SUN! WHY DO YOU KEEP CHANGING MY CODE NAME?!”
“Because it’s lame, that’s why.”
“Green Lightning, please kindly shut up.”
“I swear I’m coming up with the code names next time you screw up, Ahoudera.”
“Maa, maa, are we ready with the plan?”
“That depends. Do you guys have the item?”
“Right here. Green Lightning just got it to us in the nick
of time.”
“Then the mission is a go. Approach subject with caution. Red
Storm, out.”
You gaped at the sight of Takeshi and Ryohei standing on
your front door holding a very large
bouquet of flowers in between them. Now these were two guys you never thought
would see again.
“SPECIAL DELIVERY~!” the both of them sang out.
“Umm… What is this?” was all you could ask as both carried
the bouquet through your front door and onto your dining room table.
“Just helping out a friend say sorry.” Takeshi replied with
his usual grin.
“Yup!” Ryohei gave you a thumbs up. “Hope you make up real
soon. He’s miserable without you.”
“I don’t think we’re supposed to say that.”
“Tch, and that’s why he’s in this mess,” Ryohei rolled his
eyes at the other man. “That Octopus-Head needs to be more honest with his feelings.”
“Anyways please excuse us!” Takeshi waved at you as he and Ryohei
stepped out of the door.
“W-wait!”
You froze when Takeshi pinned you with a smile and hazel eyes that seemed much too serious than he normally was. “Please keep in mind. Everything he does, he does it to keep you
safe.”
You blinked back. “…How is working at the post office
supposed to keep me safe?”
Their only response were twin grins from both athletic men
before they both stepped out of the house and you were left with that enormous bouquet in your
dining room. When you came closer you somehow saw the note buried in the
flowers. Opening it up you couldn’t help the watery smile that crossed your
lips as you read the written message.
‘I’m an idiot. I’m
sorry.’ -Hayato
You sighed and sat down on a dining room chair,
contemplating the bouquet of flowers on your table even as you held on to
the note in your hand.
“Stupid Hayato,” you mumbled out as you stared at a blushing
tulip with troubled eyes. “I already know
you’re an idiot and I love you despite that. I just want to know why you keep
ending up wounded all the time. Stop keeping secrets from me, moron.”
Hayato listened to your words through an ear piece via the
tiny listening device he had had Lambo add into the bouquet at the last minute
as he lay in bandages on a medical wing bed and smiled sadly.
Xanxus: His enormous paws were kneading almost, stretched over your lap while the massive cat seemed loving, rolling over like a kitten at play while you only stared and laughed at its precious behaviour that Xanxus seldom saw when he sat near Bester.
But you swore he was the most cuddly lap cat- his yawning muzzle too cute to not stroke with a gentle touch that smoothed over the liger’s fur in a swat of his long tail just adding to Bester’s cuteness and his paw reached to bat at your petting fingers.
“Come look at this!” You called out to your lover, the large cat licking his teeth in a a noise you could call a purr as your rubbed at his belly playfully and cooed over him the way his owner never did. “Xanxus!”
“What?” He thundered into the den then, eyeing suspiciously at the cat swinging its body over toward him in a stretch as though he’d never been cuddling up to you or nibbling at your hair in soft licks. But Xanxus still caught the moments before where his powerful box weapon was merely snuggling against your legs and allowing you to coddle him like a kitten. “What the hell are you doing to my box weapon?”
“Me? He’s adorable- he started it!” You piped up as Bester strode next to Xanxus and sat proudly like he did when guarding his master obediently and calmly- and without licking him to death you added in your head when you recalled the nights when the large lion would appear at your side and give you an ear-full of his rough tongue when you never saw it coming. “Your ball of rage is a cuddly fur-ball, dear.”
He twitched. “Don’t ruin my weapon-”
“Aw, but he’s too cute.”
Superbi Squalo: You swam at night, bathed in dark water, hair slicked back to soaked skin rising just shoulders and neck out of cool water shining all around you when watching the silver above filter out the scenes below.
What lurked underneath didn’t frighten you, your body navigating through currents so calm and with ease as a fin jutted out nearby with the jets of water foaming out around the sleek body of grey that swam swiftly by and left you bouncing in the waves you enjoyed to swim among.
“Alo.” You spoke when letting the water carry you on your back, the lick of cold waves touching your ears and cheeks while the rising level made you feel the brilliant shark’s presence below your form just lying above his watchful eyes since your boyfriend’s box weapon did everything it could to keep you from leaving its sight.
“Come here, boy.” You said again, staring around for the faint blue glow under deep water catching around your body just as what you saw was the shadow under your kicking legs of a sea creature as brutal as powerful teeth and thrashing fins- its eyes bulging yet meaning no harm when his head rose above the surface and met your touch streaking along rough skin that comforted you to know that you weren’t swimming out here alone again. You weren’t about to be forgotten as long as Alo was there watching over you in Squalo’s place who still occasionally glanced through his window to see you enjoying the water and letting the shark guide you through with a hold on his fin.
“You should get inside- it’s getting cold!” Squalo called out from the stone building, eyes chasing the box weapon that led you nearer to the pier while you smiled against its body and felt the shark nudge you off its hefty body in the haze of blue light that would even lead you back home through the dark.
Belphegor: “He’s burrowing in my shirt!” You cried out, watching Bel laugh when the small mink dug his way under the hem of your outer shirt and nestled in your warmth attractively with a swishing tail still peeking out from under the bunched fabric hiding his tiny face hidden by the smallest bangs you could coo over. “He tickles-”
“Mink likes you, huh.” Bel poked at the form of his box weapon through your shirt, watching the little creature scurry to cling to you more when he got closer and Mink hurried to your neck then, popping his body out of your clothes in a rush when speeding to wind itself around your neck warmly and away from his master playfully in a tiny laugh.
“He doesn’t bite, right?” You giggled, feeling the fluffy tail slink around your chin sweetly as its head rested near your cheek lightly under your boyfriend’s watch.
“Not as hard as I do.” Belphegor responded flirtatiously when his hand reached to stroke by your chin, pretending as though he were skirting across your skin to get to his pet curling around your shoulders when he was merely catching a glimpse of what it was like to see you shudder and tense up at his pleasing touch that made Mink perch further back where you lie, letting his master lean in for a kiss before nuzzling at your hair and being just as playful as his owner.
“What? Did you teach your mink to be your little wingman?” You teased as your boyfriend shrugged, looking to his furry friend who seemed to grin back at him deviously with agreement. “Clever- using a cute animal to hit on me.”
“It’s working then?” He retorted slyly as you couldn’t object that having this tiny mink’s paws pressing to your cheek was just too cute and worth every second of having Bel climb over you. “Because I can try something else.”
“Down, Bel.”
Dino Cavallone: The prance of heavy hooves made you nervous, watching the horse shake its head of fiery mane with a soft snort of impatience when seeing what lie in your palm but too far for its snout to stick out and taste the vegetable you held away yet with slight fear.
You weren’t too close to horses yourself, having never touched one, been even near one until now when it gave a light stomp and shook its larger head again while Dino took his own hand and laid it upon his pet’s neck gently in a laugh.
“Scuderia is just hungry- you’re all right.” He assured, patting your back gently when seeing you sigh with worry over holding out your hand for the larger animal to feed right out of your shaky palm that Dino supported carefully just to let the sky horse take a bite out of the carrot you held since he could feed, but didn’t require it. He merely enjoyed having his owner coo over him- letting Dino rub his snout preciously with a lowering of his head that longed to nuzzle close o yours as well when you dared get close enough for Scuderia to nudge at your hair lightly to make you gasp.
“See? Look at that- he’s telling you to pet him.” Your boyfriend laughed, petting the horse’s face lovingly when suddenly helping you up along the fence as well, holding you up fearlessly close to the fence-line where Scuderia dared get so close, nuzzling your cheek with a wet nose to hear you laugh and struggle against Dino refusing to let you down yet before reaching out to stroke down the horse’s nose carefully to avoid fire that you were uncertain of yet. “He wouldn’t hurt you. I promise.”
“No, but no horse I’ve ever seen is practically on fire either- that’s something to worry about at first.” You taunted when your boyfriend eased you back down onto solid earth and let you take to his hand again as you always did, kissing your lips when the horse leaned his head further over the gate and pushed at Dino’s head to gain more attention.
“And this horse is an attention hog too.”
Byakuran: You never saw them at the same time, but you knew they both felt the same way. A white dragon coiling around you with Byakuran nearby as though it were a guardian angel, its roars soft yet immensely warning your ears that its power was a song- bellowing out to enemies that the one they protected was never to be provoked nor attacked lest they wish for death.
And the black dragon became a swarm. Swimming about your form under brush and trees while escaping he things that threatened you without your own wings to run away even when Byakuran had to be close to allow these beautiful beasts to save you.
Their whiskers tickled you shoulders and face wrapping over you like a scarf hanging loose from your body that Byakuran adored so carefully that his box weapons served your kind voice, your unbruised skin loving the way their seemingly feathered bodies felt like that of an angel’s when slowly warming your skin.
“You should name them.” You explained to your lover, sitting with black dragons fluttering around your body nestled in sheets that they wound over like twisting snakes so ready to haunt your peaceful dreams like lap cats nuzzling your skin through the night and keeping one eye open. “They deserve at least that much.”
“You can call them anything.” Byakuran laughed, his head tilting when watching your hand reach out to one dragon, touching its underbelly before watching it streak by in a blur of black that amused you with wondrous eyes. “They’ll love you for anything you say or do.”
“Why?” You dared ask, leaning back to rest while your boyfriend’s fingers took yours under the blanket, stroking over your knuckle perfectly with a cool touch that sparked your desires.
“Because they just love being obedient when I tell them to be.”
So in regards to not just Lady but also with Trish/the DMC girls in a nutshell, apparently the shitwads over that Ninja Theory, especially they’re oh-so-beloved shitwad in chief egomaniac Tameem Antoniades himself decided to go off in an interview for the Escapist about DmC: Devil May Cry and all of the shit it decided to talk about DMC and the original franchise, calling them “prostitutes with guns” which can be found here for those who want to read it themselves.
“We did that in Enslaved with Trip. People loved her, not because she had big breasts and high heels, but because she felt like someone who could be your girlfriend,” he said.
“That to me is more attractive than a prostitute walking around with a big gun,” he added. “Not to demean prostitutes – it’s a valid form of commerce.”
First things first: up until recently with the release of Senua’s Sacrifice Hellblade, Ninja Theory could barely make a badass and/or well developed female character to save their lives. And while there are a few exceptions/potential near-cases here and there, usually as side characters, they rarely, almost never get the full development and writing that they COULD get.

recognize just whose arms were holding you.
