and I thought it would be fun to do a Kh one.
Some caveats
Not all of these apply to me…just throwing that out there. Most of them apply at least somewhat.
I limited it to 20 cause I didn’t want to be here all day and I wanted to include a mini explanation on some of them Ie this list is not all inclusive. I also wanted to challenge myself somewhat (10 would have been way to easy)
I tried to order it from least to greatest but keep in mind that kind of thing is subjective
With a few exceptions, I tried to avoid copying the Pokemon Video
I tried to stick to stuff that applied to the whole series/multiple games not just one game in particular
20. You have gotten to lv. 100 in at least one of the games
19. You have gotten the Ultima weapon or any of the hard to get weapons in at least one of the games Fun story, while getting the Ultima weapon in KH I I ended up spending a few hours killing Darkballs when I was supposed to be killing Wight Knights….so I wasted 3 hours on what should have taken 5 minutes…yay me.
18. You know which Disney worlds have and have not been in Kingdom Hearts This one is low because it’s fairly easy if you know animated Disney movies. Also at this point most of the big name animated Disney movies have been in KH. Bonus points if you know which worlds have been in which games.
17. You can name all the games in the order they came out without looking it up Bonus points if you can include the original Coded which was only released in Japan and get the various Chis and Hd rereleases in the right order (cause those came out really close together)
16. You regularly visit kh13 and khinsider and know of khvids.
15. You can name all the org members in order along with their titles and somebody names when applicable Bonus points: you don’t screw up Xigbar’s titles (it’s freeshooter not sharpshooter) you know Lexaeus technically has two English titles, you know Xemnas doesn’t technically have a title. Extra bonus points if you know the Japanese titles.
14. You know how to deal with the mushroom heartless variants and know the difference between a pureblood heartless and an emblem heartless Sticking these two together cause they’re both “you know random trivia knowledge that isn’t necessary to beat the game”.
13. You’ve read the manga/light novels
12. KH is the reason you’ve bought certain game systems
11. You have watched all the movies that have appeared as worlds in the series/have played or plan to play all the games whose characters make cameos in Kh Counting plan to play because games are pricier than movies and also take more time to finish.
10. You have 100% Jiminy’s Journal at least once Now granted not all games have a Jiminy’s Journal but basically you 100% a game.
9. You understand the relationship between Sora/Ventus/Roxas
8. You have read the Ultimania guides’ “Unexplained Mysteries Solved” pages and the like Bonus points: You’ve read most of the interviews too
7. You can identify org members by coat alone You know you’re an Organization fan when
6. You have defeated all the secret bosses, all of them Special shout out to Lingering Will, Mysterious Figure and Kh I Sephiroth. Also Hunter-X cause why not.
5. You can identify most of the keyblades by sight This one is high up if only because 358/2 had some really generic keyblades. I mean they looked cool but they didn’t have the personality a lot of other keyblades do. Mostly because they weren’t associated with any world or event.
4. You understand the rules of Kh time travel This one gets a special spot if only because they explain it kind of clumsily (ie they throw it at you super fast) and it’s needed to completely understand what happens in Dream Drop. Also they’re oddly specific and kind of ridiculous rules.
3. You can identify most of heartless by sight This means knowing their names
2. You can explain the plot to someone and have it make some sense Some
1. You have been here since the beginning or at least more than 10 years Cause admittedly a lot of people grew out of Kingdom Hearts as they got older or just gave up on the plot. So if you’re still here that says something.

I’ll start: When your phone auto capitalizes Darkness like it’s a proper noun.
You can identify each hooded member of Organization XIII by their body build alone.
When you hear any of the opening songs and start crying
you have to switch from multiple platforms just to play all the games
You’re no longer phased with seeing Sephiroth and Winnie the Pooh in the same game.
Any mention of Xion makes you sad
The word Replica sticks out in your mind every time you hear it/see it because you really want Repliku to get another chance at life.
When you can’t see characters with golden eyes without thinking of Xehanort
When you had to look up Final mix content on the net cause region lock
When you just sigh after someone makes a “Roxas is Ven” theory for the tenth time this year.
When you hear the Square Enix *bing* during a commercial and automatically run to the tv to see if its a KH trailer
You’ve waited so long for 3 that you’re used to it.
You remember and know how to beat the boss battles for the 9000th time in a row (no matter the difficulty)and still get pissed at the secret boss fights.
